Chris has a MA in Marketing from Monash University, and is a Certified Practicing Marketer CPIM.

He has worked for over 30 years with technology-sector companies in sales, marketing and management, helping to increase market share, improve profitability and develop export markets.

He is skilled in strategic marketing, product innovation and building effective distribution channels in local and international markets.

Chris has helped clients to optimise the structures, strategies, processes and people that now characterise these businesses as outstanding within their competitive arena.

In addition to his work with individual companies, Chris has worked with governments and industry associations to create and deliver a number of sector-development initiatives.

  • Helping a start-up Medical Device company from first prototype to capital-raising, including market research, development of business model & strategic business plan, financial forecasts and Information Memorandum
  • Reviewing and advising of improvements to the distributor network of a Scientific Equipment manufacturer
  • Conducting a Diagnostic Review of a manufacturing company; which helped tem to make changes to their business strategy; and prepare an Information Memorandum to attract international strategic investment. 
  • Advising a Biotechnology company on its export strategy into Asia, including appointment of distributors, pricing strategy and marketing communications
  • Reviewing the future technology requirements of a niche manufacturing industry to support a grant application
  • Conducting a feasibility study for an Education & Training institute to assess a potential target market
  • Designing and delivering Entrepreneurship training to 60 companies across Australia
  • Writing the Australian state government of Victoria's Strategic Industry Plan for the Medical and Scientific Equipment industries.
